Avocado Mango Salsa

Avocado Mango SalsaTacos are usually another dish that ends up on my dinner table each week and to keep things fresh, I like to switch it up by topping them off with Avocado Mango Salsa. This is one of my recipes that I shared when I first started, and I even included in my cookbook with my Shrimp Scampi Tacos, but I thought I’d bring it back and show you exactly how I make it. Watch the video to see my tips on how to cut the avocados and mangoes in chunks.

All the individual flavors of this Avocado Mango Salsa are unique on their own, but when you combine them together, they’re the perfect salsa for fish or shrimp tacos…or you can just enjoy it with tortilla chips! I love the way the flavors blend, from the sweetness of the mango, to the creaminess of the avocado, to the bite of the onion, to the tartness of the lime, and pulling it all together with the unique taste of cilantro. On top of that, this salsa is really easy to make and can really elevate your dishes to the next level!

I like to leave my avocado chunky and not completely mixed and mushed together so it doesn’t end up like guacamole.

Serve Avocado Mango Salsa during your end of summer BBQ for a sweeter version of salsa that is packed with vitamins and healthy fats!

Ingredients
  • 2 large Avocados, cubed
  • 1 large Mangoes, cubed
  • ⅓ cup diced Onions
  • ⅓ cup chopped Cilantro
  • Juice of half a lime
  • Pinch of Salt & Pepper
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, add avocados, mangoes, onions, cilantro, lime juice, and salt and pepper. Gently mix together.
  2. Serve with tortillas or in your tacos.
