Featured Recipe: Raw Avocado Fudge Pie
Recipe type: Dessert
  • 1 cup Avocado
  • 1 cup Raw cacao powder
  • ¾'s cup of sweetener (you can use organic coconut sugar or honey)
  • A splash of vanilla
  1. In a food processor or a blender, blend together the ingredients until smooth. Place in a bowl in the fridge or freezer.
  2. Next you have to make the raw pie crust. In a food processor, blend together equal parts of dried mulberry, coconut shreds and dates until they are nice and sticky, retaining a little bit of texture.
  3. It's recommended to make these as mini pies in a couple 3 inch springform tins (the ones that you can open up the sides and remove it without touching the pie)
  4. Sprinkle some coconut shreds on the bottom of the tins. (a good trick to prevent sticking!)
  5. Line the bottom with pie crust.
  6. Grab the fudge batter out of the fridge or freezer. And layer the avocado fudge with slices of banana.
  7. Top the raw fudge pie with banana slices, or as another option, raw cacao nibs or coconut shreds.
