Naked Juice has been in the juice market for quite a long time, and this year they have introduced a new line to their family: Naked Cold Pressed Juice. They’ve been working for years to perfect their state-of-the-art cold pressed technology, and it’s now available on the West Coast. With the big trend in juices, it’s great to have a drink that tastes like it’s freshly juiced, without the hassle of having to clean out the juicer! Not to mention I don’t even own a juicer. Have it with a meal or pack it for a refreshing juice during a play date at the park.
Just like any of the other Naked products, their cold pressed juices are packed with flavor. With 5 different juices made from the highest quality fruits and vegetables, you’ll find a favorite. Here’s my review of the different flavors:
Cool Pineapple: One of my favorites. It tastes like Pineapple Lemonade a perfect combination of sweet and sour. Something I recommend having with breakfast in the morning instead of boring old orange juice.
Hearty Greens: Hearty Greens is the perfect title for this juice. You definitely feel like you are drinking something nutrient dense because of the richness of the greens, but it’s not over powering. It has slight sweetness from the apples and orange.
Bold Beet: I was a bit concerned about drinking beet juice. I love roasted beets, but drinking the juice sounded odd. Surprisingly, beet juice is a great base for mixed juice. Because of it’s mild flavor you can combine it with just about any fruit or vegetable.
Lively Carrot: I’m not a fan of carrots, so I didn’t get to try this. But my twin girls and husband seemed to enjoy it because all the bottles are empty. My husband loves the turmeric and vanilla, it added a savory taste to carrots.
Bright Greens: I would recommend this first if you’re a beginner to trying green drinks and graduate up to Hearty Greens. It’s a little sweeter and very refreshing. What really stands out is the wheatgrass and lemon with sweet apple lingering after each sip.
Aside from tasting delicious, Naked Cold Pressed Juices are good for you, of course. Cool Pineapple and Hearty Greens are a great source of Vitamin C, while you can find a good source of Potassium in Bold Beet, Lively Carrot, and Bright Greens. Traditional juices usually contain additives, preservatives, and sometimes even added sugar, but Naked Cold Pressed Juices are simply just the fruits and vegetables…and they’re non-GMO.
