Fiber Flush Green Tea

After the Thanksgiving I’m a little bloated and I know most of you are as well. I typically make myself lemon ginger green tea to help de-bloat. The lemon juice helps with water retention, green tea helps with your metabolism and chia seeds aid in digestion. The ginger is more medicinal and honey is to sweetened.   I’m also fighting a cold right now so I like to make my lemon ginger green tea for soar throats too. The lemon of course has a lot of vitamin C and the ginger is has a lot of healing qualities.

Lemon Ginger Green Tea
Recipe type: Beverage
Cuisine: American
  • A tbsp. of Chia Seeds
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 green tea bag
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1oz. of sliced ginger
  • ½ tbsp. of honey
  1. Heat up two cups of hot water with sliced ginger. Pour into cup and add green tea bag. Remove tea bag and ginger. Add chia seeds, lemon and honey.
