Tumeric Mahi Mahi

- 2 Mahi Mahi fillets, 8-12oz each
- ½ cup light coconut milk
- 1 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. grated ginger
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 2 tbsp. avocado oil or sesame oil
- Slice Mahi Mahi into 3oz pieces. Soak fish 2 hours in coconut milk in refrigerator. Take fish out and pat dry with paper towel. Rub fish with turmeric, garlic, ginger and sea salt. Heat oil to medium high heat in pan and cook fish 3 minutes on each side. Fish should be slightly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.
- I served with brown Basmati rice and broccoli. Squeeze a bit of lemon juice for more flavor.
