My Honey Sriracha Chicken is sweet and has a kick! Marinades are your best bet to add flavor to chicken. It is simple and a time saver. You can marinate your chicken overnight or before you leave to work. All you have to do is pop it in the oven when you're ready to cook. I recommend baking my because my recipe for Honey Sriracha Chicken has honey in it and it would burn cooked in a skillet. You can also sear the Honey Sriracha Chicken in a cast iron for 2 minutes on each side before finish baking in the oven. Searing will caramelize the sugars in the honey and give you a crispy outer skin to sink your teeth in. If you choose to sear chicken before baking, reduce your baking time by 10 minutes. So you would need to sear chicken then bake for 50 minutes instead of an hour.

Ingredients
  • 3 chicken leg quarters
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. Sriracha
  • 2 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. paprika
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil or olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
Instructions
  1. In a large freezer bag add all contents and marinate at least 3-4 hours. Bake for 375˚ F degrees for 1 hour uncovered. That's it! So simple and delicious. I served with brown rice so I can have it soak up all the juice from the chicken.
