I’m a creature of habit, so my breakfast is typically one of these three options. My bae, which is my Sunday brunch of bacon and eggs with pancakes. I know it’s not healty, but it’s my weekend! My second option is a green smoothie, and that’s with whatever leafy greens I have, fruit and protein powder. My third option is something with oats and I typically prefer that to be my vegan breakfast and pretty much plant-based day.
This morning it was oatmeal, sliced bananas, strawberries and blueberries. I have this about 2-3 times a week because it’s easy to whip up and it’s completely vegan. I’ve been also cutting dairy out of my diet because it causes my eczema to flare. I’m one of those people who can’t drink black coffee and always added a lot of creamer, but recently becasue of the dairy I’ve had to stop drinking my beloved cup of Joe in the morning. With the new Vanilla Almond Creamer I finally can drink coffee again! It’s a pant-based creamer that is actually creamy. You don’t know how this is kind of life changing.
I know converting to a vegan diet is difficult, eventhough it’s really healthy for you and the envrionment. But I believe even just swapping out some meat and eating more plant-based can be very benefical for your health and still benefit the enviroment. I think it’s awesome that Silk now has a plant-based creamer and I hope more brands follow in their foot steps and offer more plant-based alternatives and options.
