Air Fryer Bacon and Eggs

I finally hopped on the trend and made some Air Fryer Bacon and Eggs. This low-carb, keto-friendly breakfast just got easier with the use of an air fryer. Even though making bacon and boiled eggs is quite simple enough to make the traditional way, so many things can go wrong. I’ve witnessed my fair share of grease splatters and overcooked eggs, so it’s time to upgrade this easy with the use of an air fryer.

I’ve seen air fryers all over the place and I agree that using heat instead of oils to crisp up our foods is definitely a healthier choice. But really, air fryers can do more, like make hard boiled eggs. When I’m looking for a new product to add to my kitchen collection, I have to make sure it serves more purposes than one to save on valuable cabinet space….and also to save money. I found the Gormia Digital Air Fryer at Costco for $80, and I linked it here for you on Amazon to check out.

This was my first attempt on using this type of machine, so I thought that testing it out and making some Air Fryer Bacon and Eggs would be a good way to go.

I wanted to try out different uses for an air fryer, and I’m really glad I did because you want to make sure you make things one at a time until you are more familiar with the temperatures and cook times.

I’m happy with the way my Air Fryer Bacon and Eggs came out. I set my machine for 15 minutes for hard-boiled eggs, and then threw them in an ice bath after. Just like boiling eggs in a pot, you can’t miss this step because it helps to peel the eggs easier. For the bacon, I didn’t have to worry about grease splatters all over my stovetop and my bacon came out extra crispy, just how I like it.

Serves: 2-3
Ingredients
  • 6 strips of center cut nitrate free bacon
  • 6 eggs
  • 6 cups of spinach
  • ½ tbsp. Olive oil
Instructions
  1. Place eggs on top second rack of air fryer. Set temperature at 270˚F. Air fry for 15 minutes for hard boiled, 12 minutes for medium boiled and 10 minutes for soft boiled. Remove and put in ice water bath for 2 minutes and peel shell.
  2. Place Bacon in bottom rack. Set temperature at 375˚F degrees and air fry for 12-14 minutes. I prefer 14 minutes because I like my bacon extra crispy. Serve over sauteed spinach cooked in olive oil.
