Pesto Brown Rice Pasta
Ingredients:
6 oz un-cooked brown rice pasta (follow cooking instructions on bag)
3 tablespoons store bought pesto
3 cups chopped asparagus steamed
salt and pepper for taste

Ingredients:
half pound of un-cooked organic whole wheat Spaghetti
3 sliced apple sausage links
2 sliced zucchinis
1 jar of organic marinara sauce
half chopped onion
1/2 tablespoon of garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
In a non-stick pot heat oil and add onions and garlic. When onions are translucent add sausage, zucchini cooking for another 5 minutes. Pour sauce sauce in and cover with lid, allowing to simmer for 15 mins on medium low heat.
Bring 2 quarts of water to boil and add un-cooked pasta, cool until al dente approximately 10-11 minutes. Stir occasionally so pasta does not stick. Remove and drain.
Servers 6-8
